Mommy wants to tell you about some poisonous plants. So this guest post is by my mommy Rose DesRochers.

Did you know that some of the plants you have inside and outside of  your house may be dangerous to dogs?

Ferns, ivy, philodendron, Aloe Vera, lilies, pothos, Azaleas and poinsettias are very toxic to dogs.

Jasmine is among the worst poisonous plants for dogs. Even Tulip bulbs and Daffodils are toxic to canines.

Death may occur if even the smallest amount of an Easter Lillie is consumed by a dog.

I love morning glories, but if Mya or Maxi were to ingest any of the seeds, it can cause diarrhea, hallucinations, and erratic behavior.

For more information on other topic plants please see “ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center: List of Toxic Plants.”
